The Pyromaniac

Othello is protected by the images of war, because he is a great and famed captain, Brabantio cannot punish him for taking his daughter, Desdemona, but these war like tendencies make this romantic character easily slip into suspicion, because he trusts his ancient in war more than his love.

Othello’s bravery and victories in war is what wins him the heart of Desdemona, who is ushered into the violent war like atmosphere of Cyprus because of her deep and understanding love of Othello.
